Desegregation Modified Consent Decree Reports
As part of the Desegregation Modified
Consent Decree, CPS has agreed to publish a number of studies, reports
and guidelines that show how it is supporting the primary goals of the
agreement:
- To establish and maintain the greatest practicable number of stably
desegregated schools, considering all the circumstances in Chicago;
and
- To provide educational and related programs for any Black or Hispanic
schools remaining segregated.

Bi-annual Chief Executive Officer's Reports on the Modified Consent Decree
July 21, 2004- First public progress report on the Decree; public seminar held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza Drive, Chicago, Illinois.
June 22, 2005- Second public progress report on the Decree made during the pubic session of the June 22, 2005 Board Meeting, 125 S. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois. Tentative March 2006- Third public progress report on the Decree during the pubic session of the Board Meeting, 125 S. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois.
