Board meeting schedule

The Chicago Board of Education holds its monthly Board Meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month except for November and December, which are held on the second and third Wednesday respectively. Members of the public are welcome to voice their comments during the Public Participation portion of the meeting.

Registration for Public Participation will be open the week prior to each Board meeting from Monday at 8:00 a.m. through Friday at 5:00 p.m. or until all 60 speaking slots are filled. Only advance registration is available.You can advance register during the week of registration via:
Board meetings begin at 10:30 a.m. The public participation segment of the meeting will begin at the time indicated on the meeting agenda and proceed for no more than 60 speaking slots for up to two hours.
Further, let the official record reflect that the 2012-2013 Planning Calendar has been prepared in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
