Board meeting schedule

The Chicago Board of Education holds its monthly Board Meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month except for November and December, which are held on the third and second Wednesday respectively. Members of the public are welcome to voice their comments during the Public Participation portion of the meeting.

The Board Meetings will be held in the Board Chamber, 5th Floor, at 125 South Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois. Registration for Public Participation will be held from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. on the 1st Floor of the Clark Street Lobby. The Board Meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. The Public Participation segment of the meeting will begin immediately following the CEO Report and proceed for two hours.

Further, let the official record reflect that the 2011-2012 Planning Calendar has been prepared in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act and will be available for public distribution upon adoption of this calendar.
