Evening High School Programs The NCLB Evening High School Programs is committed to serving the needs of Chicago's community of learners by providing opportunities to earn high school credit towards a Chicago Public Schools diploma. High schools offering the evening program provide flexibility in course offerings and class scheduling. The program upholds the minimum requirements for classroom instruction set by the Illinois State Board of Education. The Department of Evening High School Programs is a division of the Office of High School Programs.
