Summer classess
Almost all high schools are offering summer school courses this year. The summer high school program focuses on recovering core subject-area credit for all students in grades 9-12. Classes run from June 15-August 14. (Please check with your child’s school for specific dates and class times.) All high schools are expected to have summer school and/or a summer program. Some schools also provide online classes over the summer. Students should speak with their school counselor to discuss their credit recovery options. For questions about summer school, contact your child’s school directly or contact The Office of Student Support and Engagement at (773) 553-3210.
