Literature and Writing 

Overview

Through the Literature and Writing program, students become critical readers, with a strengthened capacity for interpreting and responding to written materials.

Goals

  • Students will inherit the ability to comprehend, analyze, and find connection with all types of genres from various forms of literature

Program benefits

  • Parents are encouraged to participate in book clubs and events like Family Literacy Night and reading fairs
  • Schools host author and poet visits and offer extracurricular programs such as poetry slam, battle of the books, and book clubs
