Magnet Cluster 

The Magnet Cluster program is designed to ensure that students and parents have access to a broad range of unique academic choices within elementary schools in their community. Generally, magnet cluster schools specialize in one of six programmatic areas: math/science, world language, fine and performing arts, literature and writing, technology, or the International Baccalaureate program.

 

Fine and Performing Arts

School-wide curriculum-based program in the arts encourages and supports all students in attaining academic and artistic excellence.

 

International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program

Provides an accelerated curriculum that focuses on a world language, English, mathematics, humanities, sciences, arts, physical education and technology.

 

Literature and Writing

Students become creative and effective writers with the ability to express their ideas, experiences and emotions through an array of writing genres.

 

Math/Science

Improves the teaching and learning of mathematics and science while advancing student achievement.

 

Technology

Improves the technological skills students acquire in school so that they will be competitive in the workplace.

 

World Language Program

Provides opportunities and resources for all students to become proficient in a language other than English.
