Overview
International Language and Career Academies are accelerated programs within select high schools that integrate the study of a world language with career paths such as international business, hospitality-travel/tourism, culinary arts and engineering.
Goals
- Help develop advanced proficiencies in a world language
- Enhance interest and skills in international fields
Program benefits
- Students enrolled in the academies are required to complete four years of a world language and three years of a career-oriented cluster
- All coursework within the program is completed on an honors or Advanced Placement (AP) level
