The Chicago Public League (CPL) Varsity Girls Basketball program contributes to the development of our student athletes in a number of ways. In addition to teaching life skills to participants, it enhances their academic, physical, mental, social, and emotional development while helping to shape their character as well.

Rules and regulations
It’s important for both parents and students to know, and abide by all the rules and regulations set forth by CPS and the National Federation of State High School Associations. These rules are designed to ensure that every team has a fair chance to participate, and to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance at our games.
