Overview

Professional learning opportunities are essential for teachers to gain early childhood-specific knowledge to help inform and improve practice. The Office of Early Childhood Education (OECE) strives to support teachers and teacher assistants in our school and community-based programs. OECE will provide ongoing support for Teaching Strategies GOLD, CLASS observations, and curriculum. The Professional Learning series will be offered to teachers and teacher assistants on citywide teacher institute days, as well as on various Saturdays throughout the 2012-2013 school year.
