Mornings at Betty Shabazz begin with a school-wide “Unity Circle” in which students pledge self-determination, self-respect, community service, and to lead principled lives. With a focus on leadership skills, sustainable living, and the arts, the African-centered educational program consistently produces high achievers with a commitment to higher learning.
Creative:  Dance, Drawing, Ethnic/Folk Dance, Mixed Media, Modern/Hip-Hop Dance, Painting, Piano/Keyboard, Step Dance, Theater, Troupe Performances
 
Health and Wellness:  Crisis Intervention Services, School-based Dental Services
