Hirsch prepares students for postsecondary success. Students are programmed in college preparatory classes. Hirsch, a mid-size high school, has a Law Academy for highly motivated students, the AVID program, and the High School Transformation (HST) curriculum. The HST program provides technology for all students and a curriculum alligned to the College Readiness Skills.

Statistics Demographics As of 2012-2013, there were 322 students enrolled at HIRSCH HS. 76.7% were low income Students. 28.9% were Special Education Students. 0.3% were Limited English Learners. As of 2012-2013, the largest demographic at HIRSCH HS was Black. As of that time, this demographic made up 99.1% of the student population. The second greatest demographic was Hispanic at 0.6%.
