Corkery partners with Communities in Schools, Sears Retired Volunteers, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, MAP Art Program, Poder Ser and IMC Chicago to provide resources for our students. We are organized in K-5 and 6-8 middle school to offer students a structure of success.

We strive to instill in our students a sense of community and goals for higher education. We offer a variety of after-school activities sponsored by an increasing number of committed teachers educating students with a holistic approach.

Statistics Demographics As of 2012-2013, there were 592 students enrolled at CORKERY. 93.2% were low income Students. 11.7% were Special Education Students. 40.4% were Limited English Learners. As of 2012-2013, the largest demographic at CORKERY was Hispanic. As of that time, this demographic made up 81.8% of the student population. The second greatest demographic was Black at 15.5%.
