A neighborhood school, Finkl Elementary offers a solid core curriculum. The school has a full computer lab, and a mobile lab is used in the classrooms. Finkl enjoys partnerships with namesake A. Finkl and Sons Steel Company, as well as the DePaul University Center for Urban Education. The school has been recognized for ISAT achievement.
