Hendricks Math and Science Community Academy provides a strong educational program for students. The Sit, Stay, Read program encourages primary students to read to dogs. Chicago Striving Readers Project in the middle grades helps to make every middle school student successful. There is a Jiji lab and a state of the art computer lab.

Statistics Demographics As of 2012-2013, there were 281 students enrolled at HENDRICKS. 97.5% were low income Students. 12.5% were Special Education Students. 1.4% were Limited English Learners.
