Shields supports meaningful and engaged learning for all students. Academic programs include Teaching Integrated Math and Science (TIMS) and Scientific Learning, a computerized auditory processing and Reading enhancement program. Under the guidance of the University of Illinois at Chicago, Shields School is a participating member in the Partnership READ program.
