Chicago Academy serves a dual mission as an elementary school and CPS' first school-based teacher preparation program for aspiring teachers. The goal of the program is to improve student achievement by attracting, training, and retaining Chicago's next generation of teachers and school leaders. Chicago Academy's mission is to work with students, parents, and the community to create a lifelong learning environment through an authentic and engaging curriculum that nurtures and empowers children.
