Virtual Opportunities Inside a School Environment (VOISE) is nationally recognized as a pioneer in an innovative form of instruction called “Blended Learning.” At VOISE students use laptops which integrate teacher-led instruction with a online curriculum. Students use the latest digital and technology tools to create a student-centered, individualized learning environment.

The mission of VOISE Academy is to provide all students with choice, flexibility, scholarship, and individual attention by combining the use of 21st Century Learning methods of instruction through quality online curriculum with exemplary teachers.

Statistics Demographics As of 2012-2013, there were 321 students enrolled at VOISE HS. 98.1% were low income Students. 19% were Special Education Students. 1.2% were Limited English Learners. As of 2012-2013, the largest demographic at VOISE HS was Black. As of that time, this demographic made up 94.1% of the student population. The second greatest demographic was Hispanic at 5%.
