Overview
|
Fenger offers a rigorous academic program preparing students for postsecondary education and career opportunities. Fenger has Smaller Learning Communities (SLC) and College & Career Academies in Construction & Architecture and Culinary & Hospitality, in addition to the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, Advanced Placement (AP), and Honors-level classes. Fenger offers a rigorous curriculum for freshmen in math, science, and English. Honors classes are offered in English, science, mathematics, and social studies, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses are offered in eight subjects. The CEO program is designed for students interested in advanced academics and fine arts. We offer the Work Experience Cooperative Education Program (WECEP), Chicago Police and Firefighter Training Academy program, and Gallery 37
