Overview

DuSable Leadership Academy Charter High School (DLA) is a college preparatory, African-centered high school. It offers a rigorous college preparatory curriculum which provides students with positive cultural content. Technology infusion is the hallmark of instruction at DLA, and all classrooms are Internet accessible. Situated in the Bronzeville community, DuSable takes great pride in partnering with DuSable High School Alumni Coalition, Inner City Youth & Adult foundation, Inc., and other historical Bronzeville organizations to support DLA students and their families.

DLA is a school community where students are nurtured and enjoy a variety of social and educational opportunities: tutoring, counseling, mentoring, and summer enrichment programs. The college preparatory program prepares students for careers in Education, Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Journalism, Medicine, and Performing Arts.
