Overview
|
Jahn features a strong emphasis on Spanish language instruction from K-8. Our World Language Magnet Program builds on prior knowledge and includes reading and writing components in Spanish for K-8. A tuition-based program is available for before and after school. The school features music as part of its standard curriculum. Jahn offers computer and science labs, as well as internet access in every classroom. After school enrichment programs such as dance, art, chess, choir, soccer, basketball, and track. The school's partners include Alderman Waguespack's Education Committee, Chicago Communities in Schools, University of Illinois, Columbia College, University of Madison, Teachers College Reading and Writing Project, Roscoe Village Neighbors, and several local businesses.
