Overview
|
Manierre offers a Math and Science Magnet Program, and supports its focus by working with the Chicago Math & Science Initiative to implement science programs and innovative math curricula, including the Everyday Math program developed at the University of Chicago. Teachers at Manierre have access to specialists in reading and math to continually improve their instructional delivery skills. Manierre features a well-equipped computer lab and Internet-connected classrooms. The school's partners include DePaul University, UBS Paine Webber, Chicago Lights at Fourth Presbyterian Church, Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, Working In The Schools, TOV, Quarasan!, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
