Overview

Reavis Elementary School bases its instructional focus on ensuring our students are provided with an educational program that will enable them to become lifelong learners and contributing members to their respective communities. Reavis involves parents in the school through monthly family events, meetings with the administration, the Local School Council, and ongoing volunteer opportunities around the school. The school connects the students to a number of activities, including Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound, The University of Chicago's Neighborhood Schools Program, Systems of Care Chicago, and summer camp. We have created new partnerships with the Chicagoland Stanford University Alumni Organization and the ELEV8 Extended Day program. These are a few of the new and exciting programs here at the school.

The Reavis School is undergoing an educational rebirth.
