Overview
|
National Teachers Academy (NTA) is a uniquely designed neighborhood school, that brings teachers, students, and parents together with educators, universities, researchers, and the community at large. NTA provides a curriculum responsive to students' interests, backgrounds, and individual educational needs. NTA staff members collaborate with students and families to create an engaging, authentic and caring environment. NTA partners with Bank of America and Latham & Watkins.

The National Teachers Academy is a teacher training academy as part of the Academy for Urban School Leadership (AUSL) network. Master/Mentor teachers at NTA will train yearlong residents in classrooms to be successful teachers in AUSL's turnaround schools in high need communities.
