Overview

LEARN Charter Schools are committed to providing children with a solid academic foundation so they have the ability and desire to earn a college degree. Our objective is to ensure that effective student-centered instruction is provided daily, in a resource-rich environment, where students receive a high level of attention and support. Our staff is guided by five core principles: High Expectations, Respect, Safe and Nurturing Environment, Development of the Whole Child, and Family Involvement.

Small class sizes and low student-instructor ratio, extended school year and school day, ongoing, weekly professional development for instructors (Teacher Advancement Program-TAP), Readers and Writer's Workshop, instructional plans developed for students based on real data (MAP and STEP), and PE, art, music, and Spanish offered.
