Spotlight on Teachers
Chicago Public Schools has thousands of outstanding teachers who go above and beyond the call of duty on a consistent basis. On Feb. 1 Ms. Shara Fata, science teacher at Kilmer School, was recognized in the Chicago Sun-Times in the Weekend Plus section as one of those outstanding teachers. Ms. Fata was a 2007 DRIVE (Delivering Results through Innovative and Visionary Education) Award finalist. DRIVE recognizes teachers for outstanding leadership and exceptional performance. See attached for some of the reasons why Ms. Fata was selected as a DRIVE finalist and a teacher to spotlight.
Chicago Public Schools is proud to spotlight Ms. Fata as someone you should know.
