Safe Haven Programs

Safe Haven programming engages students in academic and recreational activities that fosters the development of peer and mentor relationships to help students stay on track at school. To register for a Safe Haven program, complete the consent form linked with the list of sites below.

Safe Haven operates in three cycles over the course of the year:

• After school: September - June
• Spring break: March - April
• Summer break: June - August

Safe Haven sites across the city offer out-of-school time programming for all CPS students. The program also offers programming specifically tailored to spring break and summer. Safe Haven sites serve as contingency sites for unexpected interruptions in a school day(s). Healthy meals will be provided at all locations. Hours of operation may vary by site.

Spring Break Sites

Free Program! Enjoy recreational activities, arts & crafts, homework catch up, and SEL programming.

To register for a Spring Break safe haven program, complete the Spring consent form [ ENGLISH | SPANISH ].

These sites will be open for spring break, from 10 am to 2 pm, March 23rd to the 27th.

After School Safe Haven Sites for SY25-26

To register for a safe haven program, complete the Consent Form for After School Programs

Programs begin October 6th, and hours are 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
