Welcome to the Office of High Schools and High School Programs Directory

The Office of High Schools and High School Programs (OHSP): High School Directory's website has been alphabetically compiled to assist you in learning about and understanding the variety of high schools in the CPS system. We have provided you with profiles that contain pertinent, key information about each Chicago public high school. The profiles include academic programs offered, extracurricular activities, school partnerships, counseling personnel information, and key staff and student data.

We hope the OHSP: High School Directory's website will be informational, promotional, and a public relations tool.

Parents:

The CPS standard application should be used to apply for all CPS magnet schools. This application can also be used to apply to CPS neighborhood schools for students who reside outside of the attendance area. This application should not be used for CPS selective enrollment high schools, military academies or charter schools.

The Selective Enrollment Application for selective enrollment schools and military academies is available at selective enrollment high schools, CPS elementary schools and the Office of Academic Enhancement (773-553-2240)

Applications for charter schools are available at each individual charter school.

Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply to any school including those that require testing. If accommodations for testing are required, as indicated in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) or 504 Plan, please contact the Office of Specialized Services at 773-553-1800.
