One-Year Graduation Rate
Why This Matters
Students who graduate are much more likely to be successful in their chosen postsecondary path (college, career, etc.). The extent to which schools are retaining and graduating students in range of graduation is an important indicator of school efficacy.
Students enrolled in Options Schools generally have high mobility rates and are often enrolled in an Options School for 2 years or less. Therefore, a 1-year graduation rate is used to measure students success in lieu of a 4-year graduation rate.
