I am very pleased to unveil the new High School Scorecards. They were initiated and designed with a great deal of input from educators, parents and students, and we hope you find them useful.

The scorecard will help to create a more complete picture of a school beyond just test scores. This additional information should be helpful to parents in selecting the best high school for their children. We also hope it will serve as a guideline for the schools themselves as they evaluate where they need to improve as we move through the high school transformation process.
