School Overview

LaSalle II is an exemplary elementary school in which students study Arabic, French, Mandarin or Spanish. The school provides students a high quality education centered around World Language instruction that ultimately prepares them for high school and future years. Instruction in a world language enables our students to communicate in more than one language and embrace people of differing abilities, races, and cultures as represented in the school, community, city and around the world.

Specifically, we envision that our graduates will: demonstrate the performance descriptors for Intermediate-Low or Novice-High ranges, as described by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, be aware of the diversity of languages and cultures around the world and appreciate multilingualism by having the desire to continue  language study
