Critical Thinking

Lead with CPS in the Talent Office is excited to announce the launch of a new Critical Thinking professional development training course in 2024, designed specifically for Central and Network Office employees who are managers of self. Featuring content from InfoPro Learning, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, this workshop explores decision-making by developing and choosing options for impact, stakeholder influence, and utilizing diverse perspectives and data.

This training offers a comprehensive approach to fostering critical thinking, suitable for individuals at all proficiency levels. Participants will develop essential competencies such as problem-solving, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation through:

  • Engaging workshops
  • Thought-provoking exercises
  • Collaborative discussions

They will learn to question assumptions, examine evidence, and draw reasoned conclusions. With a strong emphasis on practical application, participants will have the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills to real-world CPS scenarios relevant to our organization.

Lead with CPS in the Talent Office is committed to equitable and quality career pathways. Therefore, we are strategically offering 18 trainings covering four (4) skill-sets that were chosen by staff related to RISE competencies. Seats are limited. Waiting lists will be held.
