EQUIP for New CPS Leaders

The Equip for New CPS Leaders Cohort is designed for new people managers and provides participants with the foundational skills essential to success within a new manager role. Participants will be with other new-to-their-role leaders as you problem-solve together and learn from each other. To learn more about the EQUIP for new leaders cohort, please click here.

Eligibility

  • Required for those who have managed the work of others for 3 years of less at CPS or any other organization
  • Cannot have any record of professional misconduct
  • You can only participate in one cohort or external development program per school year. If you are accepted, this will count as your one professional development opportunity in a Lead with CPS program in Fiscal Year 2025-2026.

How to Apply

Employees eligible to participate in this opportunity will be provided with a link to register via email approximately a month prior to the start of the cohort.

Time commitment

4 full-day sessions take place over 3 months

Application window

There will be sessions of EQUIP offered in the summer and fall. Eligible employees will be provided with a link to register via email. Application open 7/8/25-7/22/25.
