NextGen Mentorship Program

Lead with CPS in the Talent Office is committed to equitable and quality career pathways. Through three components: training, cohorts, and mentorship, Lead with CPS is scaling learning for our staff. The NextGen Mentorship program has a specific focus on diversity and inclusion to provide an equitable investment for emerging CPS leaders. The NextGen Mentorship Program is a structured skill-building opportunity to access development in an experiential way based on their professional goals and the mentors’ strengths. Eligibility

  • Individual Contributors (Managers of self)
  • 3 years or more in current role at CPS
  • Cannot have any record of professional misconduct
  • Priority will be given to applicants who have received exemplary in one area of their most recent RISE evaluation.
  • You can only participate in one cohort or external development program per school year. If you are accepted, this will count as your one professional development opportunity in a Lead with CPS program in Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
