Take the Lead

The Take the Lead Cohort is designed for those who manage the work of others, are looking to better understand how they show up as leaders, and improve their leadership skills. This cohort includes a 360 degree feedback assessment and debriefing from a certified coach, group coaching and implementation planning with internal and external experts, and FranklinCovey’s The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership that a leader must hardwire to be effective. Eligibility

  • Experienced Managers of Others
  • RISE rating of proficient or above
  • Cannot have any record of professional misconduct
  • You can only participate in one cohort or external development program per school year. If you are accepted, this will count as your one professional development opportunity in a Lead with CPS program in Fiscal Year 2025-2026.

Approximately 55 hours over 4 months, comprised of five full-day workshops (Jan-May), a 1-hour session of executive coaching, and 10 hours intersession work, an orientation, and a final half-day class reunion in September
