In collaboration with an administrator, a Teacher Liaison (TL) identifies a school-specific need (e.g. a need for teacher mentorship, climate/culture initiatives, teacher-led professional development, etc…). The TL attends a summer training session and then participates in weekly coaching from their TST Coach.
The TL establishes the vision and goals for their Impact Team, which consists of other staff members in the building. The TL leads the Impact Team in addressing the school-wide need, fostering a staff culture of empowerment, commitment, trust and collective responsibility.
Suggested two-plus years in the classroom.
