Apply Online
- Once the GoCPS application cycle opens, log in to access your GoCPS account or sign up to create a new account. The online GoCPS application is available in a number of languages.
- Families without computer access can get assistance with the application process from the staff at their child’s current CPS school or over the phone by calling the OAE Hotline.
- The application is also mobile friendly so families can complete the entire process on their smartphones.
GoCPS Account
The Office of Access and Enrollment automatically creates GoCPS accounts for all parents/guardians of current CPS students. When you log into the GoCPS application at apply.cps.edu for the first time, you will need to use the password reset function to gain access.
If your child does not attend CPS, you'll need the following information: Applicant name, date of birth, and a CPS ID number (for current or former CPS students).
- CPS IDs will be generated for students who do not have one if they receive (and accept) a GoCPS offer in the Spring.
- We have used the contact information in Aspen to provide accounts for all current CPS families. If you do not attend a CPS school, Parents will need an email address or phone number to set up an account. If you are currently employed at CPS, or another school, please make sure you are using a personal email address in Aspen, in accordance with the CPS acceptable use policy.
