CPS Programs
All of the CPS preschools in the city accept applications through a separate website called Chicago Early Learning.
Students are selected based on a computerized lottery process.
Applications
Applications are submitted the year before your child will enroll.
Receiving an offer from a school that a student applies to is not guaranteed. Students will be waitlisted for any schools where there are not enough available seats. It is possible that students could receive more than one offer; however, only one offer can be accepted.
CPS Early Learning
The application process for all preschools is managed by the city of Chicago on their website, Chicago Early Learning, and begins in the spring. Using the site, you can find the right preschool program for your child. Search by the address where you live or work, or by other features you care most about, then compare your favorite programs.

By opening an account and adding your students, you will be able to create a profile for your family and view the schools to which your students are eligible to apply. You will use one account for all the children in your family, so if you are applying for multiple children or different grade levels, you can manage it from one central location.
