Transform the School Board Policy process to be more equitable and inclusive, ensuring that an equity lens is embedded into every step.

Initiate the Black Student Success Plan
Initiate the Black Student Success Plan with input from over 60 working group members, 375 focus group stakeholders, and over 500 roundtable participants who analyzed data and shaped actionable plans to confront systemic inequities affecting Black students.

Develop the Opportunity Index
Develop the Opportunity Index, which has redefined resource allocation across the district by using data-driven insights to prioritize equity in the allocation of $1.8 billion in CARES Act funds, $1.7 billion in ESSER funds, and hundreds of support staff positions across the district.

Deliver high-quality equity-driven professional learning
Deliver high-quality equity-driven professional learning to over 20,000 district stakeholders since 2018, to empower them to deepen their understanding of the CPS Equity Framework.

Champion equitable policies
Champion equitable policies within the Board of Education, including the Culturally Responsive Education and Diversity (CRED) Policy and the Naming and Renaming of Schools policy.

Support the professional growth and career advancement
Support the professional growth and career advancement of 97 rising school leaders through the Great Expectations Mentoring (GEM) program.
