SY27 Did Not Arrive (DNA) Process
The Did Not Arrive (DNA) Code 99 process will begin at 8:00 p.m., tonight, August 24th. Please ensure all attendance is accurate and submitted in Aspen by 8:00pm on August 24. Students who arrive must not be marked Absent.
The SY27 Memo #5 Did Not Arrive (DNA) Code 99 Process provides guidance for SY27 on the Did Not Arrive (DNA) Code 99 process, outlining day 1 attendance expectations and required follow‑up.
After day 1, you can view students assigned Code 99 on the DNA ONS dashboard and the CPS Dashboard, Invalid Leave Code DQI. Schools must work to resolve all Code 99 students by the 20th day, document outreach in Aspen, and follow the Lost Child Process when whereabouts are unknown. School leaders must ensure that school clerks reference the SY27 Did Not Arrive (DNA) Code 99 Process Guide and DNA FAQ for complete DNA Process details.
For questions, contact Student Outreach at: studentoutreach@cps.edu. For Aspen technical support, please contact the ITS Service Desk (773) 553-3925.
