1st Quarter Progress Report Distribution
The last date that a principal can request a change to school grading scales for SY 2023-2024 is September 8, 2023. Please reference the annual memo from the Office of Education Policy and Procedures for additional details.

School administrators can continue to post grades on behalf of teachers once the posting window is closed. Grades will be extracted for use in the Dashboard and in On-track calculations after the 5:00 p.m. deadline.
Teachers can post grades multiple times in Aspen while the grade posting window is open, and grades must be posted to display on progress reports, report cards, and transcripts.
Updates to IEP Report Cards must be finalized in SSM before the 5:00 p.m. deadline.
Schools can generate report cards at any time after grade posting is verified and complete.

Please note the following Teacher Grade Posting deadlines for 8th graders and AC15 students in reading, math, science, and social science (5 p.m):
IMPORTANT: Any additional grades posted after Wednesday, May 24, 2024, may impact the student's report card; however, they will NOT affect the students' promotion status or whether they are required to attend Summer Bridge or Summer Acceleration. - 8th grade students attending an Academic Center, as described in the Board’s Admissions Policy for Magnet, Selective Enrollment and Other GoCPS Schools and Programs policy, are enrolled in a high school and taking high school level courses and therefore are not subject to the requirements of this policy, and the deadlines for grade entry for summer school eligibility do not apply.

Semester Two Preliminary High School Transcripts Available (12th Grade ONLY).
Preliminary High School Transcripts do not contain Second Semester Class Rank. For seniors who are eligible for graduation, the spring semester CPS graduation date (June 6, 2024) will begin appearing on high school official transcripts on May 20, 2024.
Final Elementary School Transcripts are available anytime after final grades are posted for all students.
