Instructional Overview
Skyline 6-8 courses scaffold students from from a Novice Low proficiency level to an Intermediate Mid level. Grade 6 is a natural entry point for language learners and will prepare them for advanced high school levels. The final unit of each of these courses challenges students to study thematic content at a high proficiency level to prepare them for further study in high school.
Units
Starting August 1, the same high-quality PK-11 Skyline World Language curriculum is freely-available on a new platform. The District provides professional learning opportunities to support teachers with implementation of the curriculum on the new platform.
