World Languages, French High School I

Instructional Overview

Skyline high school courses allow a wide range of study for students at every proficiency level from Novice Low to Advanced Mid. French I and II courses can be used in an alternative sequence to pace and differentiate the needs of each class. French IV can be used as an AP prep course. Students in the high school levels have many opportunities to experience and learn about the francophone world through authentic media and develop their communication skills in real world scenarios.

Starting August 1, the same high-quality PK-11 Skyline World Language curriculum is freely-available on a new platform. The District provides professional learning opportunities to support teachers with implementation of the curriculum on the new platform.
