Course Overview
In this course, students will learn how communities share similarities and differences across the United States and around the world and explore how communities impact students’ identities. They will learn how communities near and far exchange and share ideas, practices, and resources. Students will explore how people have shaped and been shaped by their communities and investigate the ways in which communities are impacted by their history, environment, governments, diverse cultures, and economy.
