Course Overview
Skyline Social Science Grade 6: World History covers topics in ancient, medieval and early modern world history from the beginning of civilization to the age of exploration. The course examines how geography shapes societies and cultures of Africa, Asia (South, East and the Middle East), Europe, and the Americas. They will examine systems of power, privilege and oppression throughout world history as well as how individuals and groups have practiced resistance.

Introducing the Revised Skyline Social Science Curriculum

Expect stronger alignment to the CPS Social Science Culturally Responsive Inquiry Arc Framework, a cross-disciplinary approach with Skyline ELA, and improvements based on teacher and student feedback.
