6.4 Sump Pumps and Perimeter Drainage

Sump pumps for perimeter drainage may be required to be added for schools with ongoing water infiltration issues. This would be required if the space has a recent history of flooding during heavy rains or groundwater infiltration, upon approval of CPS. These systems shall be designed to meet the requirements of Volume 3, Chapter 7.2.3 Sump Pump System Sizing.
