Student Outreach and Re-Engagement (SOAR) Centers

Student Outreach and Re-Engagement (SOAR) Centers help students who are currently not enrolled in school, or who are enrolled but stopped attending, with support to re-enroll in school and graduate.

Student Outreach and Re-Engagement (SOAR) links youth ages 15 to 21 and families with the support needed to address the fundamental issues driving lack of engagement in school. The program has four citywide SOAR offices in neighborhoods with the highest concentrations of out-of-school youth.


SOAR Centers are located at the facilities of community-based organizations in the following neighborhoods:

  • Garfield Park SOAR Center ( Network 14)
    3250 W Adams St (Located in Marshall High School)
  • Pilsen/Little Village SOAR Center ( Network 15)
    3948 W. 26th St (2nd Fl inside of Central State SER)
  • Englewood SOAR Center (Network 16)
    747 W. 63rd Street Office V211(Located at Kennedy King College)
  • Roseland SOAR Center (Network 17)
    837 W. 119th St (located inside of Phalanx Family Services)
