Laid off employees are eligible for employment services designed to help obtain reemployment as soon as possible. These include services such as job search and placement assistance, access to grant funds for education and training programs, support programs and facilities, career transition services, Labor Market Information (occupational information and economic trends) etc. A web page has been set up to provide information about these services and includes a message board with the latest information. Faith's Law Authorization for Sexual Misconduct-Related Information
Per the Illinois School Code, (105 ILCS 5/22-94) (Faith's Law trailer bill), CPS is required to respond to applicable prospective employers with relevant information related to pending or substantiated findings of sexual misconduct against any of its current or former CPS employees.
To authorize CPS to release this information, please complete the Disclosure Authorization form and submit it to email@example.com. In addition, if a prospective employer is interested in learning more about a current or former CPS employee's employment history, which may fall outside of the Faith's Law trailer bill, please also complete the CPS Reference Check form.
