Where This Data Comes From

Grades 3–8

Attendance greater than 90% and a GPA of 3.0+ in core subjects (Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies)

9th Grade

District-Managed Schools: Failing no more than one semester credit and earning at least 6.5 credits
Charter and Contract Schools: Failing no more than one semester credit and earning at least 5 credits*

* Some Charter and Contract schools offer fewer credits during freshman year, which is why their credit goal is different.

The district rate only includes district-managed schools.
