Traveling with Immediate Family
If you are traveling to school with the same individuals you live with, maintain the same safety practices you have at home in the car. When you arrive at the school building, make sure to wear your cloth face covering and maintain a safe social distance from others.
Individual Pick-Up, Carpooling and Public Transportation
It’s important that students wear their face coverings when traveling with anyone they do not live with. Whether they are riding with a close friend or family member, carpooling with a group, or taking public transportation to get to school, face coverings should be worn at all times.
Students should wear their cloth face coverings at all times while riding a school bus. Before boarding the bus, their temperature will be checked. If it registers above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit and they cannot return home immediately, they will finish the ride socially distanced from other students and be moved to a care room at the school until their parents/guardians can pick them up. School bus aides will wear appropriate PPE and offer students hand sanitizer. Students will sit by themselves or with their siblings and be spaced to ensure proper social distancing.
