School Overview

Welcome to Hibbard Elementary, a vibrant, multilingual and multicultural school community where we believe that language, culture, and identity are strengths. Hibbard is proud to offer a comprehensive two-way Spanish Dual Language Program from PreK through 6th grade, developing students who are bilingual, biliterate, and culturally responsive. Our General Education program provides equally rich and rigorous learning experiences while honoring the many languages, cultures, identities, and experiences our students bring to our school community. At Hibbard, we believe students thrive when academic excellence is paired with belonging, creativity, wellness, and opportunity. Our partnerships with The People’s Music School and Tapestry 360 expand access to music education and health and wellness services. As a Communities In Schools partner school, we benefit from additional supports and resources that strengthen our students, families, and teachers and help our entire school community thrive. As an ASCA RAMP-designated school, we are also proud of our comprehensive school counseling program and commitment to supporting the whole child. Beyond the school day, families have access to YMCA after-school care, providing students with a safe and enriching place to learn, play, and connect. At Hibbard, every child brings something powerful to our community, and we are committed to ensuring every student is known, valued, challenged, and prepared to thrive.
